Graduate Programs in Pharmacology at The Ohio State University
The Integrated Biomedical Science Graduate Program (IBGP) provides training in all relevant areas of biomedical sciences. Students can specialize in various designated areas of emphasis. For each of these areas there is a suggested curriculum that if completed will be recognized on the student's graduation transcript as an area of graduate specialization. The Department of Pharmacology - together with faculty from multiple other departments, offers study in the area of research emphasis designated as "Molecular Pharmacology, Pharmacogenomics and Therapeutics."
Under the theme "The Biology of Human Disease", IBGP is a multidisciplinary graduate program, which has recently emerged from combining several separate departmental graduate programs within the College of Medicine.
This college-wide graduate program has a strong Graduate Faculty composed of over 170 members from 19 departments, including the Department of Pharmacology. These faculty members bring to the program extraordinary research and teaching expertise and outstanding research resources that will be available to our graduate students.
