I grew up in Cambridge, Wisconsin and attended undergraduate school at University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point where I majored in biology with minors in chemistry and writing. Even though I am a red-blooded Badger fan (no worries, I still plan on rooting for OSU MOST of the time), I cannot be more excited to attend the program this summer and begin this new chapter of my life. My research interests lie primarily in cancer biology, cancer immunology and protein marker identification, especially in regards to breast cancer. When I’m not in the lab, you can usually find me running around Columbus training for a marathon, playing disc golf somewhere, getting involved around the campus or community, or just enjoying the outdoors in general.
