Visit in 2013

Thank you for your interest in the Biomedical Science major at Ohio State! We strongly encourage all students interested in applying to the major to visit campus and attend a Biomedical Science (BMS) Information Session so they can gain a better understanding of the major and how it may fit with their academic and career goals.

During Summer 2013, we are offering Biomedical Science Summer Information Sessions on five days:
Monday, June 10th  at 1:00pm in room 115 of the Biomedical Research Tower
Thursday, June 20th at 10:00am in room 105 of the Biomedical Research Tower
Monday, July 15th at 10:00am in room 115 of the Biomedical Research Tower
Monday, July 29th at 10:00am in room 105 of the Biomedical Research Tower
Thursday, August 8th at 1:00pm in room 115 of the Biomedical Research Tower
 

Information sessions last about one hour and 15 minutes.  Directions and parking instructions for the Biomedical Research Tower can be found at http://medicalcenter.osu.edu/pdfs/maps/Dri_Dir_Biomedical_Research_Tower.pdf.  Whenever possible, we encourage Information Sessions attendees to combine their visit with a general campus overview and tour offered by Undergraduate Admissions.  If you are you doing this, the Biomedical Research Tower is an easy walk (about 15 minutes for most people) from the Ohio Union, where admission overviews are given.

Registration steps for both Biomedical Information Sessions and General OSU Overview and Tour:
1) Go to https://campusvisit.osu.edu/ and click "Admissions Overview and Tour" in the category "Prospective Freshmen".

2) When prompted to select an academic interest, choose "Biomedical Science" to see available dates.

3) Complete the rest of the registration.

Note: Campus Visit website only schedules a couple months in advance.  You can schedule July visits starting in May, and August visits starting in June.
